Olive Garden’s newest prototype “Domani” is designed to evolve with our guests now and in the future through two main themes: creating an atmosphere that works for our guests’ different dining occasions and making the experience as convenient as possible.
The new-look Olive Garden also has a dedicated to-go area with a separate entryway, a dining room layout that is more flexible for groups eating, and an alfresco space which merges indoor and outdoor dining through glass panels. The design includes brick interior walls, a white marble bar and countertops, natural tones of soft greens, caramels, natural wood, and textured stone accented with contemporary artwork.
The Olive Garden floorplan works on a variety of location types, it can be freestanding or easily adaptable in shopping malls, store fronts and airports. The average company-owned restaurant in the USA is 7,700 sqft (715m²) and seats 250 guests. International franchise locations in general have a smaller footprint, with the smallest being 1,500 sqft (140m²) in an international airport.
